On Wednesday morning at approx. 0109 hrs Hawthorne was dispatched for a T/T accident with fluid spill. Location 18 Saw Mill Rv. Rd. Applebee's. Rt 9A.Units operating 2191, 2192, 2193, E155, U41, MPPD, Glens Towing

Upon arrival of all units, chiefs found a T/T which had started sliding backwards down a hill goin into the parking lot of 18 Saw Mill Rv.Rd. The T/T had ruptured the deisel tank for the trailer portion. Crews then started to dam up the fuel spill with pads and speedy dri. Crews also applied some plug-n-dike to the tank which stopped the leak. Once the tow company was on scene, they were able to move the T/T so that if could be moved into the parking lot, until crews from the trucking company could come and make the repairs.
