On Thursday morning December 31, 2009 @0324 hrs., Hawthorne was dispatched for a mutual aid engine to the scene of a working structure fire. Location 126 Nethermont Ave., North White Plains, cross street Hillandale Ave.

Units operating: North White Plains L47, E75, R33, West Harrison FD, Valhalla FD 2482, TL49, R9 (Fast) Hawthorne FD 2192, E155, Armonk FD Engine for Standby, Batt. 16, North Castle PD, Valhalla VAC, 37Medic2, West. Cnty C&O Team, West. Cnty Car 2.

 Upon arrival, Hawthorne crews were staged for relief of interior crews. Fire was located on the second floor of a 2 1/2 story structure. Hawthorne crews were also used to check for some extension of fire. Hawthorne crews were on scene for approx. 2hrs.
